Traci Stuart | Executive Vice President
[ back ]
Traci is Blattel's resident firefighter - mostly because putting out fires (of the crisis communications variety) is her specialty. But she's also known for keeping a cool head in heated situations - even when those around her are fired up. It certainly doesn't hurt that she knows something about (almost) everything - the ideal knowledge set for someone whose job encompasses the professional diversity she enjoys. Whether it's business development, strategic communications or implementation of public relations programs, Traci knows how to think strategically, but doesn't mind getting her hands dirty.
As executive vice president, Traci provides strategic direction and a variety of account services to a diverse group of business-to-business and professional services clients. A self-confessed "media hound," she can be found hip-deep in newspapers, professional journals or magazines - not to mention electronic media - at any time of the day or night. With more than 15 years of media relations experience, Traci has landed coverage in both electronic and print media, including securing segments on CNN, "The Today Show," "Mornings on Two" and numerous other regional and national television programs, as well as print coverage in U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner Magazine, San Jose Mercury News, among many other daily, business and industry trade publications.
Prior to joining Blattel Communications, Traci worked with both business-to-business and general consumer-focused agencies in Northern and Southern California, where her clients have included: Mellon Bank, Equity Office Properties' One Market Plaza, Ghirardelli Square, and Del Monte Foods, among others. The breadth and depth of Traci's experience allow her to quickly grasp her clients' businesses and objectives - bringing a wealth of opportunities in the mainstream media, as well as in more specifically targeted media outlets.
Traci is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She has written and spoken extensively on media relations strategies for law firms, and she has worked pro bono for Hamilton Family Center. Traci is a career-long member of the Public Relations Society of America and also serves on the board of directors of the Legal Marketing Association - Bay Area Chapter, where she is the 2005 president and previously was publicity chair (2002, 2003). In 2003, she was elected the chapter's member of the year. Yet another illustration of Traci's ability to maintain her cool, especially when the heat is on.
